The Global Source Book is a production in book form and mirrored in enhanced and interactive digital forms. Making use of data, stories and a combination of visual and written elements, each user will be able to connect and interact on various levels. This is intended to become a common source of knowledge about our planet, its systems and the ways we have shaped, are shaping and can reshape our world.
The book is intended to be transformational by revealing information in a story-oriented, quest-driven and adventurous context, exploring:
1) Critical connections within and between the human and natural systems and how they took form; 2) how unintentional relationships within the human system and between the human and natural systems result in unintended consequences that multiply, exponentially, across the entire spectrum of both systems;
3) how we might view our world and our challenges through a different lens, in a new framework, as a system of systems, constantly impacting each other; and 4) the value of making decisions and choices that are informed by this more inclusive point of view.
Ultimately, the book will advocate a strategy of engagement to foster and coalesce a global community—a wide-ranging, global community that recognizes the need to transform relationships within and between the Human and Natural systems.
